For today.....Friday, August 17, 2012
Outside my window.....a beautiful Friday morning! The sky is so pretty and blue with white fluffy clouds. The forecast for today is 94 degrees, with a temperature right now of 59 degrees. I'm so thankful the temps are moving back down into the 90's again!
I am thinking.....William has taken Parker to the park. He has been taking him in the mornings since it gets so hot in the afternoon. It gives me a little free time to get things done around the house...or work on my blog. ;-)
In the kitchen.....fixing stir fry vegetables with chicken and rice for dinner.
I am wearing.....blue denim skirt, and light blue short sleeved top, no shoes.
I am going.....we are taking Parker back to his house after lunch so his Grammy Ann can watch him until Mommy and Daddy come home from work.
I am reading.....The Joy of Less, by Francine Jay.
I am hearing.....the house is very quiet with William and Parker gone. :)
Around the house.....decluttering some kitchen cabinets.
One of my favorite things....hearing my grandson laugh when I tickle him. ♥
A few plans for the rest of the
week......we hope to have a quiet weekend. William and I plan to work around the house and yard on Saturday. And have a relaxed Sunday.

Pom Pom, the book I'm reading is a minimalist living guide. I've been interested in minimalism for a long time, and read several minimalist blogs including Francine Jay's (www.missminimalist.com). The book has inspired me to make some changes in our house. I bought the book from Amazon if you want to check it out. :)
