Grandpa and Parker
Hello! I can't believe that it's been a week since my last post. The days have been going by so quickly. It's hard to believe that tomorrow is the first day of February! I don't know where January has gone. It seems like we just celebrated Christmas! February also has one extra day this year, so we will be enjoying Leap Year at the end of the month!
We've been busy with taking care of Parker, and with other things. Parker turned eight months old last week, can you believe it? He's getting so big too! He sure enjoys being with his grandpa! He brings so much joy into our lives. We are very blessed grandparents. ♥
Playing with his toys. :)
I don't know if I mentioned that William is having someone repair his fishing boat. The guy has been coming to our house, and William has been helping him do the repairs. He has enjoyed doing it, and is learning a new skill. The repair guy is supposed to come again tomorrow, and William is hoping they will be able to complete all the repairs. He and my brother David are anxious to get out on the water to check out the boat, and put in some time fishing!
Michelle is back at school, and is keeping busy between it and her part time job. D'artagnan misses his 'mom' when she is gone, but is joyously happy when she is back home again. Michelle is applying to volunteer at our local SPCA. It is only for a few hours a month. There is an orientation class coming up soon, and she plans to attend that.
I hope everyone is enjoying the week so far!
Sounds like a good week...that Parker is such a cute little dude! ;D
ReplyDeleteIt's good to "hear" from you again, Susan.
ReplyDeleteI like the picture of Parker playing with his toys. He sure does look happy! :)
Hi Susan, Hard to believe that Parker is 8 mos.! What wonderful times you and your husband share with this cutie. I wonder what Parker will call you when he begins to talk?
ReplyDeleteI hope the boat repairs go well and I know Michelle will be a great asset as a volunteer.
Wishing you a great Wednesday.
Hi, Susan,
ReplyDeleteYes, time has been flying by! Parker is really growing. He is just cute as can be. :)
I'm glad your husband is enjoying the boat repair. It's always good to learn something new.
How nice that Michelle will be helping with the SPCA. They do a lot of good.
Oh my goodness, Susan, Parker is so adorable, and he is really growing so fast. I can imagine the fun you and your dh are having with him.
ReplyDeleteMy Dad was a fisherman, and I know how fishermen are about their boats and wanting to be out fishing. I love to fish too and I guess I got this from my Dad.~smile~
So glad to see that all is well with your daughter, Michele, and that she is able to volunteer, There is such a great need, helping with our furry friends as I hear of so many that are discarded and mistreated by owners.
Always a joy to catch-up, enjoy your week,
Hugs,
Sue
Dear Susan ♥ Oh my...Parker is such a "cutie" and seems to be best buddies with his Grampa! Little ones just seem to grow so quickly! It is so nice that you all live closeby and are able to spend precious time together! Blessings ♥ Teri
