For today....Thursday, December 8, 2011
Outside my window....today is a day filled with sunshine, though it's cold. The current temperature is 45 degrees.
I am thinking....I've been sitting here with a heating pad on my shoulder. I pulled a muscle in my right shoulder a couple of days ago. I still don't know how I did it. I'm sure it will feel better in a couple of days, but it sure limits my ability to get things done.
I am thankful....to have a heating pad and Motrin to help me feel better. :)
In the kitchen....I'm going to fix burritos for dinner tonight for William and Michelle. I think I will fix myself a green salad.
I am wearing.....a long black skirt, light blue long sleeve top and black tights.
I am going....I am taking Mom to the lab tomorrow morning, so I'm hoping my shoulder will be feeling better, so it won't hurt when I drive.
I am reading....reading another one of my 'Murder, She Wrote' mysteries. I'm enjoying them a lot.
I am hearing....William and I are watching some programs I've recorded on tv.
Around the house....most of our Christmas decorations are now up. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here! :)
One of my favorite things....enjoying the lights on the Christmas tree.
A few plans for the rest of the week....taking Mom to the lab on Friday. We are going to my brother's house on Sunday for a Christmas get together. I'm going to bake some chocolate chip cookies for a cookie exchange.
From my picture journal.........this year's Christmas tree.

Hi, Susan~
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear your shoulder is hurting. I hope you'll be feeling better soon!
Your tree is so pretty. I enjoy looking at the lights too.
Your header picture is so sweet. I love snowmen!
Hope you're enjoying the beautiful Christmas season. :-)
I hope your shoulder feels better soon. Your Christmas tree is beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your shoulder. I pray you won't have any trouble driving your Mom to the lab tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteYour tree is very pretty. I love sitting and enjoying the lights from the tree. I bet Parker enjoys the lights too.
Have a nice weekend.
When I read about your shoulder pain, I couldn't help but remember when I strained my shoulder in mid-July earlier this year. It turned-out that I had tendinitis, and was in pain severe pain until the end of August! I pray that you don't have tendinitis, and that's it's just a simple muscle strain.
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas tree looks very pretty. It looks like you had a fun time decorating it.
I also had burritos tonight for dinner. :)
Anyway, take care, and try to have a pleasant rest of the week.
P.S. Your new header is cute. :)
I knew 'Murder She Wrote' was a TV show, but I didn't know they were books too.
ReplyDeleteYour tree looks *lovely* and I hope your shoulder feels better soon.
Oh and I just LOVE your Christmas blog header. :o)
Such a pretty tree, Susan! Hope your shoulder feels better soon!
